Frequently Asked Questions
Are compatible cartridges safe to use in my printer?
Most compatibles are safe when used correctly, but results vary. Choose sellers with clear compatibility lists and return policies. Be aware some printers may refuse third-party chips after firmware updates—reading recent buyer feedback for your exact printer model helps avoid surprises.
Do dye-sublimation Selphy prints fade quickly?
No—dye-sublimation Selphy prints typically include an automatic protective laminate that improves water resistance and reduces fading. Long-term fade resistance also depends on storage (avoid direct sunlight and high humidity).
Should I buy XL/high-yield cartridges or standard sizes?
If you print photos regularly, XL/high-yield cartridges lower the per-page cost and reduce replacement frequency. If you print rarely, standard cartridges may be better to avoid potential ink drying or waste from infrequent use.
